Our proven tools and approaches to gathering and analysis of requirements are used at different points in the process, including (when appropriate) mind mapping, business process flows, paper prototyping, JAD, data dictionary definition, use case scenarios, stakeholder analysis, reflection in action, logical modelling and strategic planning review.
As part of this process we also focus on the non-functional requirements of the system or product. This is an often overlooked but most important component of any business requirement deliverable that will determine the ultimate quality and serviceability constraints of the system.
The end result of this engagement provides a quality deliverable (documentation and supporting material) that can be used as input into preparing a project charter, system design or ‘go to market’ as part of a quotation or request for information process.
